Does the world really need a Legally Blonde 3?

During an interview on Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe, Reese Witherspoon talked about the possibility of a Legally Blonde 3.

“I think it would be cool. I think we're ready to see Elle and see what she's up to lately.”

No, Reese, I think we’re good. After destroying the franchise with that turd of a sequel, Red, White and Blonde, no thank you.

She continued:

A lot of writers over the years have come up with different ideas for it. I actually think it’s kind of great right now because we’re talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it’d be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court Justice or somebody who runs for office, president.

While I’m down with the idea of Elle running for office, I’m still suffering aftershocks from Red, White and Blegh.

It’s not like Witherspoon would need it, anyway. She’s running a successful production company, has her own lifestyle brand and was nominated for another Oscar last year.

You might not all agree with me on this one, but I would much rather watch a third Sex and the City. Just, please don’t make Carrie pregnant.
